PV is the easiest renewable electricity source to incorporate into buildings. The electricity is supplied at the point of use, thus avoiding the losses which occur in electricity distribution. It can be used at any scale – from less than a kWp on an individual home up to MWp scale systems on large public buildings – and is simple and reliable.
Build Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) forms the future of Solar Installation where Solar will be planned as part of the building itself. We at Anu have come out with an unique product which is the first of its kind introduced in India. Anu has introduced a brand new range of Solar Roof Tiles which is of the same mould as the single groove Mangalore Tiles. We wanted to provide a sustainable solution which will ensure ease of installation and maximum power generation. Our Building Integrated Solar Photovoltaic solution will ensure that the Solar Solution adds to the beauty of the home. These tiles can be connected as desired to build larger On-Grid, Off-Grid and Hybrid Solar Systems.
System Design
System is a 1.5KWp Grid Interactive System installed for a Residence in Thrissur, Kerala. System configuration offered is with 1.5 KWp Solar PV with 1.5 KVA grid Interactive Inverter and 200Ah@24V Battery Bank. Solar photovoltaic (pv) modules generate electricity from sunlight, which are supplied to the loads and balance stored in the batteries which will be used at night and at times when Solar Power is not sufficient. Also the battery backup provides power to the loads during power outages.
